When not at work, where would we likely find you?

Likely in the gym! For some reason I find lifting heavy things quite meditative. It also keeps me out of the pub.

What motivates you at work?

I love working in healthcare. It’s a privilege to work with clients who are doing amazing things and who have a genuine desire and drive to save or improve lives. Being a part of that is, for me, incredibly motivating.

What is your life motto/mantra you try to live by?

Good ol’ Marcus Aurelius “The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.” I think he’s saying that we should look at obstacles and adversity as certainties in life and embrace them as opportunities when we do come across them. Anyone who has witnessed my attempts at DIY home improvements will be able to assert that I do indeed live by this.
